Four City Colleges of Chicago students have been recognized by the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge for their efforts to promote civic engagement on campus.
They have been named to the 2025 ALL IN Student Voting Honor Roll, which honors students across the country who have gone above and beyond to support nonpartisan voter registration, education, and turnout in their communities.
Congratulations to the following student leaders for their dedication in 2024:
Demeisha Banks, Harold Washington College
Ameer Longe, Olive-Harvey College
Joseph Rice, Kennedy-King College
Tammy Spivey, Wilbur Wright College
A recent survey from CIRCLE found that nearly half of people under 35 who didn’t vote in 2024 said they heard little to nothing about how to vote. By helping spread clear, accessible, and nonpartisan voting information, these students are empowering their peers to make their voices heard.
In total, 232 college students nationwide were named to ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge’s 2025 Student Voting Honor Roll.
