Luis Narváez, vice chancellor of Adult Education at City Colleges of Chicago, is focused on improving outcomes for adult learners across the city. Due to his impact and vision, Vice Chancellor Narváez has been selected to participate in the Leadership Greater Chicago (LGC) Signature Fellows Class of 2026. Through the opportunity, he’ll join a group of 45 professionals who are also committed to leading transformational change throughout the Chicago region.
As Vice Chancellor, Narváez has worked to expand access, equity, and opportunity for students who are focused on learning English as a second language and preparing to earn their high school diplomas. His selection to the LGC Fellows Program is a testament to his dedication to public service, education, and community empowerment.
Through this 10-month civic leadership fellowship, Narváez will collaborate with leaders across government, business, education, and nonprofit sectors.
