As Malcolm X College prepares to welcome students back to school for the Fall 2025 semester, the college is being recognized for promoting inclusive excellence, belonging, and campus-wide mental health support. Recently, Malcolm X received the 2025 Excellence in Mental Health and Well-Being Award from Insight Into Academia.
“We believe that supporting the mental health and well-being of our students and employees is essential to their success. This recognition affirms our commitment to creating a campus culture where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive,” said David A. Sanders, president of Malcolm X College.
Malcolm X will be featured alongside 70 other institutions in the September issue of Insight Into Academia.
“This award celebrates colleges and universities that serve as role models for prioritizing mental health and well-being for students and employees,” said Lenore Pearlstein, the magazine’s owner and publisher.
