Location:

Enjoy an inspiring evening of art, conversation, and community. This year’s spring event offers an exclusive look at Matisse’s Jazz: Rhythms in Color. This exhibition marks the first time Matisse’s artist book, Jazz, will be shown in its entirety at the Art Institute. One of the most important artist books of the 20th century, Jazz joins over 50 works from the museum’s renowned collection of paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, illustrated books, and textiles to showcase the famed artist’s commitment across his 50-year career to the expressive power of color and line.

Don’t forget—your City Colleges ID grants you free access to several Chicago museums year-round. Discover more at www.ccc.edu/museums.
