Dia de Los Muertos, also known as the Day of the Dead, is a 3,000-year-old Mexican cultural tradition. This holiday celebration takes place over two days. Tt is a time when we remember and honor our loved ones who have passed. To honor their departed, families create ofrendas (offerings), which are typically an altar or special table in the home where a collection of significant objects are placed to celebrate the lives of the deceased.
In honor of Día de Los Muertos, all are welcome to visit the KKC V-Building to view and add items to the ofrenda from Tuesday, November 1st through Friday, November 4th, 12:00 p.m. You may also submit a name/story/picture the person you would like to honor to firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the ofrenda.
