Join the host, Professor Ted Williams of Kennedy-King, as he explores solutions to the increase in crime that the United States is currently experiencing.

Guest Speakers include:

Attorney LaRoma White, Criminal Justice instructor at Kennedy-King

Attorney Lorethea Spencer, Criminal Justice lecturer at Kennedy-King

Dr. Daniel Davis, PhD, Afro American Studies associate professor at Kennedy-King

Questions considered will include: 

  • Which parts of the country have the highest crime?
  • How has historic government policy created conditions of inequality and crime? 
  • Is the answer to lock up more criminals?
  • How does the criminal justice system help? How does it fail?
  • What solutions are currently working in Chicago and other places?
