On the 53rd anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, Be Well Chicago will host "Stonewall Then & Now: Trauma, Resilience, Resistance, and Healing" in celebration of Pride Month. and acknowledge the work already being done within the community.

When: June 28, 2022 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Food, beverages and an opportunity to connect with other community members and allies

6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Panel and Discussion

Where: Harry S. Truman College’s Larry McKeon Student Services Building, President’s Conference Room (Room 146-147).

This event will provide space for members of the LGBTQIA community and their allies to not only celebrate together but connect and discuss the meaning of trauma, resilience, resistance and healing for all.

We hope to create an interactive and healing environment where we can explore continued challenges faced by the LGBTQIA community.
