WCAG 2.1 Accessibility Support Drop-in

Drop-in session where faculty can ask questions and get hands-on support with their WCAG accessibility issues. This includes formatting documents (Word, PPTs and PDF’s), adding transcripts and subtitles to videos, color contrast, and improving accessibility in Simple Syllabus. Drop in anytime between 12 noon – 7 p.m.

Duration: Varies (Max 20 minutes per person)

Agenda

During this live drop-in session, we will:

  • Recommend solutions to your accessibility issues with resources
  • Provide a hands-on walkthrough of one or two of your specific accessibility items (bring examples to review)
  • Other items covered includes:
    • WCAG 2.1 Overview and Federal Mandate
    • Improving Accessibility: Color, Headings, Images, Links, Lists, PDF’s
    • Tools and Support: Ally, Microsoft Accessibility, CCC Help Resources
